To improve communication with our members (and non-members), we've created "Black Mountain Bowmen Announcements", a Google group that functions as a mailing list, for announcements and news from BMB.

This offers a number of advantages, including:

• Non-members and multiple people on the same family membership can receive announcements.
• Members can opt out of email communications.
• Past messages can be viewed on the group page.

Over the next few days we'll be working to add current BMB members to the list. Those who can't be added automatically will receive an invitation via email. Also, anyone can join at any time by selecting "Join group" from the bmb-announce page.

Note that the list is "read-only": only the BMB Board can post messages, so you won't be receiving messages from anyone other than us.

Once we've got all members enrolled, we'll be migrating our email postings over to this new format. As usual, most announcements will continue to also be posted to our website, Facebook page, and Bluesky feed.
