Happy Friday, BMB'ers! Here are a few updates and reminders ahead of this weekend:

• The Black Mountain Bowmen 2025 3D League BBQ/Potluck takes place tomorrow, starting at 12pm, at the BMB picnic area. We'll be serving up great food, handing out medals to top 3D League finishers, and raffling off prizes.
  • All 3D League participants and volunteers are invited! (Thank you to all of you who RSVP'ed.)
  • What to bring:
    • Food/drink to share, if you'd like. (Reminder: County Park rules prohibit alcohol, sorry!)
    • Shade canopy (EZ-Up etc.) if you have one; we'll have some put up but with the warm weather, we can't have too many!
  • The range will remain open as usual during the event.
• Our monthly Club Shoot happens on Sunday. (If you're quick you can still preregister, but we should have plenty of space for walk-ons.) The format is an NFAA 900 round. Entry is free to all current BMB members, $10 for non-members.
  • Setup begins at 8am (please come and help!), shooting at 9am.
  • Since there will be no August Club Shoot (BMB will be hosting the MTBA Regional 900 that weekend; sign up here), this may be your best opportunity to get sighted in and practice for the Regional and State 900 tournaments.
  • Other than the parking lot, the range will remain open as usual during the event.
• Registration is now open for the California Bowmen Hunters (CBH) State 900 target archery tournament. You have a number of dates and venues where you can shoot your round, including BMB. You can sign up online, or by mail via the entry form attached to the event flyer.
