The weather forecast for this Sunday's Club Shoot is improving, but either way the event will go ahead, rain or shine! As is customary during "outdoor archery season", the format will be an NFAA 900: 3 rounds (at 60/50/40 yards; 50/40/30 for youth; 30/20/10 for cubs) of 5 6-arrow ends (90 arrows total), shot at a World Archery 122cm 10-ring face. (For more details, check out NFAA's excellent video on 900 shoots.)
The shoot is free from Black Mountain Bowmen club members, $10 for non-members. If you plan on attending, consider filling out the preregistration form online; it's not required, but it helps us plan logistics such as target assignments.
Registration and setup begins around 8 AM, in the BMB main parking lot; first arrows will be shot around 9 AM. We're grateful to any participants who show up early to lend a hand with event setup.
Please note that the rest of the archery range will be closed for the duration of the club shoot.
See you there!
